The Road – 2nd Trailer

   Why the second, reworked trailer?

   My guess is, the first was deemed too negative, too hopeless, too bleak.

   This latter trailer emphasizes hope (“carrying the fire”, “angels”, etc). Notice too the soaring, triumph-of-the-human-spirit score.

   For my money, it’s much too too heavy-handed. They first trailer was leaner, harder, tougher, more powerful. Of the two, the first packed much the better punch.
